Who We Are

The Honest Painter™ is operated by Sean Morin, sole proprietor, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

What We Collect

• Contact forms: Name, email address, business name, and any information you voluntarily provide in the message field.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies, no personal data tracking). We see page views and country-level location. We do not see your IP address, browser fingerprint, or any personally identifiable information through analytics.
• Paint tools: Calculator and price tracker inputs are processed locally in your browser. No data is sent to our servers.

How We Use Your Information

• Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
• We do not send marketing emails. Period.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Form submissions are processed through Cloudflare Workers (edge computing). Notification data is transmitted via ntfy.sh (open-source push notification service). We do not maintain a database of form submissions beyond what is necessary to respond to your inquiry.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no session cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) for bot protection — this is managed by Cloudflare, not by us.

Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent for future communications
